Keflex is a cephalosporin antibiotic and is used to treat certain infections caused by susceptible bacteria sinusitis, respiratory infections, otitis media, skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections, acute prostatitis and some dental infections. Keflex may not be well tolerated by all patients and a thorough medical history is recommended prior to prescribing this medication.
